Every year when I unpack the boxes of Christmas Decorations
I am happy to see my favorites once again.
I love everything about the Christmas holiday ...
Buying and wrapping gifts for family and friends,
Decorating the house,
Baking cookies, and especially ...
Christmas music!
On my blog this season you will hear lots of my favorites ...
But my very favorite Christmas Carol is O Holy Night.
I cannot sing nor listen to that beautiful Carol without
getting tears in my eyes!
I'm linking up to:
This version of O Holy Night is performed by Charlotte Church.
Doesn't she have a beautiful voice Bentley?
Love,
Susan and Bentley
xxoo
pretty in pink!!
ReplyDeleteHappy PS :))
Have a blessed weekend,
Kay Ellen
Love those ornaments - so nice to keep them from year to year. We do too (but I've had to buy unbreakables now, I'm so clumsy, and it's just not the same...)
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you on the songs - I put a Mixpod on my blog (only plays if you click on it, so you don't get blasted with sound or a slowed screen) and I'm pretty sure I have both of those on it. Plus a very wintry background which matches the view outside the windows as I type (11.07 Saturday morning in the UK) where it's now snowing HARD. Happy Pink Saturday!
Lovin' your ornaments Susan, I need to add some more vintage to my collection:@)
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you and the Charlotte Church version is truly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas if I don't get to pop in before the Christmas day!
Blessings and best wishes,
Natasha.
It is a beautiful song, Susan. A few of my favorites are "I'll Be Home For Christmas", Judy singing, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" and probably my all time favorite is "Merry Christmas, Darling" by Karen Carpenter. What a crystal clear voice she had. Bentley, I bet your favorite is the dogs that bark, "JIngle Bells!"

Your decorations show the love and joy you get feel during the holidays. Very pretty post.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Bentley have a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Bentley is enjoying the holidays. And that there will lots of goodies in his stocking. I know he's been a good boy. (Well, aside from the skirmishes with the chickens next door...)

Hi Susan: I agree about the music, "Mary did you know?" gets me everytime. No matter where I am I can imagine this young girl giving birth to our Savior. What a feeling, did she know? Have a wonderful Christmas. Blessings, Martha
