The porch takes on a new fresh look ...
Of course I still have to figure out how to repair the
wicker scrolls that the squirrels chewed!
And ...
To give a new look to a mini chair too!
Lots of fun parties to join today

Wow I just love this. I love taking old things and painting them. But you outdid yourself. Absolutely beautiful. The whole picture is just perfect...the furniture...the paint...the grouping. Very nice. Love it. Now all you need is some soft pink flowers blooming for spring! hahaha...it is snowing here and nothing is even thinking of blooming~!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debbie
Truly pretty.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous transformation. Reminded me of when I paint my wicker. I have a spray can in each hand!!! ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteAmazing what a trasformation paint can make. Each of your pieces are wonderful, but my favorite is the old cane chair. At least if you can't find a way to fix the wicker, everyone will know that's an old design, so it's more expected the wicker wouldn't be perfect. I wouldn't worry so much about fixing it because it's still pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's so amazing what a couple of dollars worth of spray paint can do! Your projects are wonderful. So bright and fresh. I have a thing for little chairs. Mimi
ReplyDeleteGotta love some spray paint.. Here is my problem now.. I have a bird caged shapped similar to yours.. it is black.. hmmm.. white?
ReplyDeleteLOVE those makeovers, Susan! How lucky to have a porch to enjoy them on! I've been known to take white paint to MANY things in my home and garden as well! I hope you and Bentley have a lovely weekend!!... Donna
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful, don't you just love white paint!
ReplyDeleteSusan, this is a wonderful transformation for your porch...just lovely!

ReplyDeleteLove your new looks using the spray paint...everything looks fresh yet shabby..as only a woman understands...I'm your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, thanks for helping me answer a question ive been thinking about since i bought an old vintage laundry basket last week. Some people would cringe at the thought of painting it, but i love the white so much better. Its so funny how some of these posts are so on time, lol. I will for sure post it when i get it done. Ur things turned out beautiful. I wouldnt worry about fixing the wicker, the broken strands add character..........Bonnie

Hooray for paint! How could we decorate without it? I love the update. I have a long list of items needing the same treatment.
ReplyDeleteLove love the white it's so right. OMG A rhyme, what's with that? Isn't spray paint the greatest. So fast.
