Let's talk pillows. Here's the thing ~
women love them, and men ... well not so much.
In our house I often hear hubby say ~ "Lovie (yes that's what hubby calls me)
Do we really NEED all of these pillows???"
The answer is ~ YES WE DO!
I found this adorable pillow in an antique shop last week. It's
not really an antique, but look at it. Darling pink toile heart trimmed
with pink gingham. How could I have possibly passed it up???
And ...
Just look at the sweet tiny pink roses on the sides.
Of course it had to come home with me.
Hubby puts up with my pillow addiction, but he doesn't get it.
I don't think any man does.

Even though Bentley is a male dog, he gets pillows because he
likes to sleep on them. He especially likes to sleep on down
filled pillows. What can I say? He likes to be comfy.
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the pillow and really love hearing Doris Day singing 'Pillow Talk.'
ReplyDeleteHi Bentley!!
Love your pillows and love that I had the pleasure of listening to Doris Day sing Pillow Talk.
ReplyDeleteI loved her old movies as a kid and I still do! I'll take Doris Day and Rock Hudson any day. ;)
Made before I was born, but I can't resist her. :)
So funny. So true! And to think I just bought 2 more tonight!
ReplyDeleteLove the heart shaped pillow!
Thankfully Bentley understands.

No, men don't get pillows. My hubby says the same thing. I don't think I could've passed up that toile pillow, either. It's precious.

That is such a pretty little pillow. I don't blame you for taking it home.
ReplyDeleteI would have too.

I am glad you stick us for yourself with your pillows. They are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat IS a sweet pillow! I used to have lots of pillows on my couches, etc. when we were first married---but now, with all the kids, my pretty pillows usually end up on the floor! I suppose I can get them back out someday when my kids are older...but, for now, I think I'll just make some for my bedroom!
