There are four big windows in our master bedroom, and this is my favorite
corner. It overlooks the back garden and the back porch. I put this little
electric stove in the corner to cozy it up.
It's the perfect spot to sit and relax and dream. Now if I could just find
the time to enjoy it! Stop back tomorrow. I hope to show you my
dining room. If not, then certainly by Wednesday.
Bentley ~ go help your grandma collect some of that moss that has
fallen off the trees. She wants to spray it with snow for a Christmas
craft project.

ReplyDeleteI just bought a little fireplace like yours. Mine is supposed to be a chocolate color but it's a little burgundyish. I like the color of yours. We love it. Everyone that sees it like it as well.

Oh I love that little corner with the heater, that is so cozy! But I know how it is, it's so hard for us to sit and relax at home because you can always think of something you could or should be doing. Yesterday while ice fell from the sky here most of the day, I did sit by the fireplace and read my book for a while ... it was wonderful. We need to train ourselves to do that sort of thing even when ice isn't falling from the sky :)

ReplyDeleteDo be careful bringing in that Spanish moss...it can sometimes be full of bugs. You might want to wrap it in tin foil & put it in the oven for a bit before you spray paint it to look like snow. We used to live in FL so I've experience with the moss.
We have two if those lil electric fireplaces. Love them. Did you use ASCP to paint yours?
