Although I have a Cuisinart coffee pot with a built in coffee grinder, I love
the look of vintage grinders. So with a little help from heirloom white paint
and The Graphics Fairy, I am spilling the beans on a new look for a thrift
shop find and an repurposed can.
It's just a bit more country farm house looking now.
Don't you just love the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans?
I sure do.
The Graphics Fairy has such great labels.
I am linking to ~
Bentley and I wish you a happy and creative week!

Susan and Bentley
Great job on the grinder, Susan. Maybe you can have a treat, Bentley while Momma has her coffee!

thats so pretty Susan. I wish I could find an old coffee grinder. My grandma had one and I loved it.
ReplyDeleteThe grinder looks so pretty painted white! I would have never thought to paint it.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I enjoy having Fred Astaire serenade me. :D
I would never think to paint a vintage coffee grinder but it looks great.
ReplyDeleteNice! The dark wood did look a bit "made in china" - ish - but you've distressed it and dressed it in upscale shabby chic - brilliant!
ReplyDeleteJoy!

First of all, I was glad to read that things are looking up for your mum - good news!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand - bad news about your 'then there were none' toe! Wasps are so terrible at this time of year!
I like what you've done with the coffee grinder - I'm on the lookout for one that works, as a back-up for when the power goes out here. I've got to have my fresh ground coffee!
Susan ~ I am so glad thigs are looking better for your mom. Your toe ~ oh that would hurt ~ vinegar is the best to take out the sting.
ReplyDeleteYour redo of the coffee grinder is just PERFECT ~ love it and YES, YES, YES, I LOVE the smell of freshly ground coffee ~ yummmmm ;-)
Ok, girl, you did it again. I sold the Cuisinart at the Daisy Inn auction, just not enough space on the Cape house counter. I had to go get a grinder today, so I can grind up some FRESH coffee! yay!

Arf, Bentley!
ReplyDeleteYour coffee grinder is wonderful. What a treasure. It looks fabulous painted and distressed. The label is a fun find also. Yes, I do love the aroma of fresh ground coffee and I even love the aroma of just the coffee beans. I put them in hurricanes to hold candles and the smell just seems to drift all over the house. Love it. Now I need a cup of coffee. Hugs, Marty
