Here we are before any tweaking ...
And now after some tweaking has been done.
Of course, I still need to paint this room to match the
bedroom, but I think I better finish unpacking first.
Can you believe that we are still unpacking? Well we are!
Packing got delayed a bit while we were overlooking the
purchase agreement for our old house. That's a bit of an
excuse. I will take any excuse I can to take a break from
unpacking ;-) But today, it is full speed ahead.
At least, that's the plan lol!
Happily Joining ~
Bentley ~ I just spotted your grandma carrying a little
chandelier off to her bedroom. I think she is doing
a little bit of tweaking too!
Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
It's looking prettier every day, Susan! Unpacking (or packing) is really a mammoth chore, isn't it? I do like your new abode. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
Denise at Forest Manor
A huge chore but so far we have been meeting each new day with enthusiasm.

Susan - You sure made that area look "lived in". Good job!
ReplyDeleteJudy
Thank you Judy.

Susan, everything looks beautiful....especially love the way you have your perfumes on the gorgeous platter! Hmm, I think the platter is much easier to keep looking lovely than the mirror trays!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Helen
My husbands's Great Aunt Laura gave me that tray. It is a prized possession.

Susan ~ This is just lovely. I am sitting here pondering. The more I see of your touches, the more I think we are soul sisters. Hmmmm ~ round picture - check, Ralph Lauren perfume - check, long floral pictures - check, little clear glass lamps - check. I do, I do~! we are souls sisters ;-)
ReplyDeleteBentley - go see what grandma is tweaking - I betcha it's going to look lovely ~
Oh yes my friend. We are indeed soul sisters!

ReplyDeleteThanks Donna.

Lovely shots! We will soon be packing too, but only to move to our new addition. Still, it is a huge job, isn't it. Your 'tweaking' looks great!
ReplyDeleteYes a huge job and not one I would want to repeat any time soon.
DeleteSusan
Susan, your vanity looks like a wonderful retreat. It's all so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the sale of your home. I'm sure it's a bitter sweet time. Did your neighbor follow through with the purchase with the possibility that you may one day buy it back?
Good luck with the unpacking. I know it must seem overwhelming.
Yes and yes. It is a win win all the way around and we are so thankful! Thanks for asking Sarah.
DeleteSusan
I love all the tweaking you are doing. Guess who else wears Coco Mademoiselle? You knew that, tho!
ReplyDeletexoxo,

ReplyDeleteCarolyn

Welcome to Texas, Susan! I hope that you will really enjoy it here. There are so many lovely people, and of course you will fit right in :) Your new home is WONDERFUL, how I envy all of your space!! I'll enjoy seeing how you transform into your own!
ReplyDeletexoxo, Andrea
It's really been like coming home. Although I never lived in Victoria before, David and I met in Houston. Feels so good to be back in Texas!
DeleteSusan
Looks wonderful, Susan. I know you will be happy to get it done. Did I really just say that "DONE" word? There is no such thing. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI will be happy just to get all of the boxes unpacked! Of course, then I will have to find a spot to put everything. So you are right "done" may never happen.
ReplyDeleteSusan
Love the little pair of lamps there. It is coming along...
ReplyDeleteHope you're having fun in your new home, Susan! Love, love that vanity!
