***A Thelma Update!***

Thelma has never been a follower ...
She likes to blaze her own trail.
She was brave enough to hop the fence and sit on our front porch.
Now in the midst of inches of snow ...
Thelma has decided to molt!
So now, according to her Mom (otherwise known as Dr. Amy)
she is living in the comfort of the cozy heated quest house next door ...
in the lap of luxury!
Who said chickens are dumb???

No Bentley ... you cannot disturb Thelma right now, she is busy
growing new feathers!!!

Further updates as necessary.

Love,
Susan and Bentley

What about some blueberry pancakes?

Whatever you decide, I'll be happy to whip it up for you!
After breakfast, we can visit The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sunday.

You can come too Bentley!!! Yes, I know ... you'll be happy with anything
your Momma decides to make.

Pink Holidays and a Winner

And the Random Generator chose :
Debbie of "Simply Debbie".
Congrats Debbie! Please send me your mailing address.
I'll send your mini pink chair off to you.

And now some sweet pink holiday ornaments ...

Vintage pinks ...

And a santa with a pink hat too!

Hi Bentley ... I don't think we have any pink toys left. You chewed
up the pink popsicle and Momma can't find another
one like it!

Bentley's Inside Day

Bentley, I know you want to go outside and play in your yard
but the snow is still quite deep. You have to stay on the path
and I know that's not much fun.
How about a story?

I could read to you from this book.
The title is "Jingle Bell Bark". It's a mystery ...
what do you think?

I have some of your favorite Christmas toys in a comfy chair.
Shall I read to you??

Okay Momma ~ I'm ready!

While I read to Bentley, be sure to stop by and visit Cindy

Vintage Christmas Memories

One of the reasons I love Christmas so much is
because of all the happy memories ...

Recipes from friends like my dear friend
Mary Kay. She still lives in NY
and I'm here in Idaho, but I'll always
remember baking Christmas Cookies together!!

Vintage cookie cutters and an old wooden spoon.
A cheery and vintage Christmas apron.

An old recipe box filled with treasured family favorites
The Christmas dishes we use every year.
I guess I'm just a sentimental girl,
but I love all the family traditions.
I suspect most of you do too!

Please go visit Suzanne for more Vintage Thingies!

Bentley, you love your old chewed up toys ~ they are your
very own Vintage Thngies!

Love,
Susan and Bentley
