A Basket of Hearts

A few days ago I was in a thrift shop I had never been to before.  I
found two baskets I liked, and one of them was this white wicker
one.  It was in perfect condition and only cost $1, so of course it
had to come home with me!

It's really cold here, and once again we are about to lose all of
our ginger plants just like we did last year.  Really makes me
sad.

Love,
Susan and Oliver

  1. Pretty pic! Can you cover your ginger with a thick blanket till the cold passes?

  5. I love everything in that photo! The little hearts are just darling and my fave color too! And those two pillows... just so shabby and cute. Love them.. and also love white wicker baskets. It's like a spring day here in central Oregon, 60 degrees and sunny. Wonders never cease! Marilyn

  7. Nice hearing from you again. Last week we had about 10 inches of snow. Last night we received a covering of ice. The temperatures have been very cold these last few weeks.
Your basket of Valentines are lovely.
    Have a HAPPY ST.VALENTINE's DAY

  9. Love your basket of hearts. Did you make them? What was the best Valentine gift you ever received? Mine was my daughter. I went into labor and delivered a tiny baby girl on Valentine's Day. She was such a special gift, but as a child she hated her birthday, because she said everyone received a gift on Valentine's Day, even her pesty little brother. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day with your Love. I live a little further up your State, and we have had snow on the ground and ice in the trees. Hopefully my roses will survive.

    1. Yes, I made the pillows and all of the little hearts. It’s hard when one’s Birthday falls on a holiday, but such a perfect gift for you!
