A Vintage and Red Table Runner

Recently I found the cutest vintage table runner with a crochet border. Love the bright colors and of course especially the reds.

Then there is this cute little strainer/lifter thingie. I think it's really a child's cooking utensil, but I just couldn't resist it and I know that I will use it too! So to show off my latest finds I am linking to Sue's It's A Very Cherry World for Rednesday and then over to Suzanne's Colorado Lady for Vintage Thingie Thursday. Have a fun day!

Do you think that we could pick up some of these toys Bentley? I'll help you.

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  2. Oh Susan! I remember having tools like these when I was a wee one back in the early 70s. I had several red handled tools. Maybe that's where my obsession comes from! Thanks for taking me back.

  4. Susan Girl,
This is beautiful and the red is yummy! The little doggie I posted just came off the web, but I am sure if we had had Theodore as a baby, he would have looked very much the same :) What do you think, Bentley???

  23. I really like crocheted edges on towels/runners/pillowcases. And I like that little touch of green on there. And I like the utensils with the colored handles... I collect the green ones.

  24. Susan that is so stinking cute...I love it. I see very little vintage linens as cute as this one...I also love the aprons, and really never see those, except for beat up used ones. Thanks so much for your input and opinion on that linkie post....I agree with you 100 percent, in fact could not have said it better. I think the same thing when I see the blog and very little comments. I love comments, and the interaction, that is why I am here, to meet creative like minds:):) thank you. Debbie
