The winter nights have been cold, sometimes snowy and often rainy. Although spring should be arriving in a few weeks, it is still comforting to have a warm and cozy candlelight dinner at home. Maybe a pot of stew and some hot biscuits, or a bowl of home made chicken noodle soup and a salad. A warm and inviting table shared with family on a cold evening. Come join me and others at Susan's Tablescape Thursday at her lovely blog, Between Naps on the Porch.
Now that looks very inviting. I bet it smells good too!
Do you have an ash tree at your cottage? I have to ask because we have a huge 50-60 year Modesto Ash tree in our back yard. It shades pretty much the entire yard.
I hope to be back soon to see what else is happening at Ash Tree Cottage!
This looks so warm and inviting. I like your quilt on the table set with the blue transferware! That's the type of table you want to sit at for hours, after the meal, and just visit with your family and friends. I love it!
Love your table. The quilt top is wonderful! What did you end up making? My kind LOVE my homemade chicken noodle soup. I have to TRIPLE my noodle recipe!
Oh gosh, but that tablescape does look like home! Could anything be better than to feel like you can be so comfortable...and eat and chat and ..I just love it all! The tablecloth..YES! The dishes! YES! The entire table set up is wonderful! I loved this! So....am I invited?? :) Hugs and love, Mona
