I discovered this vintage bed tray at an antique mall that was going out of business. It was such a good price that I could not pass it up. It looked a bit sad though.
I decided to give it a few coats of an off white satin finish spray to freshen it up.
Now it makes the perfect bed tray for a lazy breakfast in bed.
Of course, the vintage bed tray may not be the only thing that could use a metamorphosis ... let's see some wrinkle cream, an eye mask, some anti-wrinkle supplements and a good cardio workout just might do the job!!
Now that I am feeling renewed, please join me over at Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday!!

I love it, 100% better and so shabby chic too!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing to mine recently! I just love the look spray paint gives things! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYours really looks different...sooo cute!
I do love bed trays!
I won't wander too far again. It kinda shocked me and I don't shock easy. I guess I just forget what's out there...
I had to smile at your idea how to look better. I remember the days when that might have helped me...but NO MORE! :) Actually, it's not bad. The thinning and gray hair is really beginning to bug me though. And...I refuse to get one of those short curly cuts. I am a long hair person.
Hugs,
Mona

You're right. It did look a tad sad in the first photo. But you fixed it right up with your paint! (You know, I really like white far better than all the black that everyone seems to love. It shows dust so bad.) Lovely idea!
