Over the past several years we have had tea parties.
Served breakfast and lunch on the deck.
And some cocktail parties too.
Served coffee on a vintage card table and cloth while we played bridge.
Enjoyed cozy meals in the crisp fall air.
And snuggled up inside when the weather got colder.
Lots of happy table top memories.

He's working on it.

Susan- you know that "Guide to Pink Elephants" drink recipe book you have there? My Mom and Dad had the same exact one.
ReplyDeleteI loved looking at that, though I can't think of one time we ever served drinks at home. Mom didn't touch alcohol and Pop was a wine maker and drinker - never the hard stuff. My auntie and unc would come over and they either drank sweet tea or light beer. : - )
Your photos are beautiful and serious eye candy for the dish collector! I especially love the second one with the little purple flowers. Take care - Dawn
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading this post, I was trying to pick out my favorite setting. I finally gave up - I love them all. However, I am crazy, about that bandana wine holder! What happen memories you must have of these events!
