Yes it's me, Santa. Will someone please tell this blogger that Christmas is long over. It's spring now. I should have been boxed up and put in the attic until next December. While I realize that it is Rednesday and I am wearing a jolly red suit, and I am a kitchen timer, isn't this stretching things a bit Susan??? Okay, I'm supposed to invite you to go and visit Sue's blog "Its A Very Cherry World". Please visit her so that I can take a nap until next December. Oh no! What's this??
It's that little dog who lives here. His name is Bentley and he's bringing out his own Santa to show off for Rednesday!!
Bentley and I promise that now that we have shown off our favorite Santas for Rednesday, we will put them away and get on with spring. Now rush over to Sue's blog and see what are probably much more timely reds!!
Love,
Susan Bentley and our spokesmen, the two Santas

I had to laugh when I read your post....I too still have a holdover from Christmas in my kitchen. I have a pair of snowmen that are currently doing duty as our salt and pepper shakers! Yes, I know that they need to be packed up but they still have salt and pepper in them, gotta use it up first!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and for the laugh so early in the morning. :)
I have some Jim Shore santas and snowmen that I leave out all year. Who cares if it's Christmas!

I don't mind seeing Christmas stuff at all, especially since I spotted an Easter bunny that should have been packed away weeks ago! Hello sweet Bentley!

Oh, this is too funny! I'm lovin' every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post!!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel too bad Santa, at our house Mary, baby Jesus and Joseph finally got put away just this past Saturday along with the Ceramic Ascending Jesus and Easter eggs. (roll eyes) We creative people just tend to move on to the next thing before the first thing is finished, don't we? That would be called putting the cart before the horse, I guess.
ReplyDeleteOh Bentley I think I love you...how cute are you and that Santa..thanks for sharing, Mica/The Child's Paper
ReplyDeleteI love your Santa & Bentley's . We can always use a little Christmas to make us smile .
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
