Blessings and Prayers

I have been so absorbed watching the news about the devastating
earthquake in Japan. It's caused me to stop and think about how
easy it is to take for granted our many blessings. Most of us know
where we will sleep tonight. Most of us know that our loved ones are
safe and well.

Be thankful!

I am praying for the citizens of Japan. For those in shelters who have
lost their homes. For those
who have lost loved ones or are still searching. For those trying to clean up
what seems to be an insurmountable pile of debris. For those who are
fighting to prevent multiple nuclear meltdowns. For those who are scared
and weary.

Please pray for them with me.
God Bless

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  1. I can't even watch the news. It is making me sick for those poor people. Every time I think about it I pray for those folks in Japan and thank the Lord that we are safe here, for now. *sighs*

    Thanks for a sweet post.

  5. I'm praying for those who had to watch others perish and could not do anything to help them. I'm praying for all those who lost their life that God is now standing with them. I'm praying that each and everyone of us reach out to grab a hand that needs help. I'm praying that as night falls on the folks who are cold and without any comfort that the night is over quickly and morning brings help.

  6. This is so true. We all need to remember how lucky we are and that life is fleeting.

  7. I know. The thought alone is just overwhelming. I watch the evening news while I do floor exercises, and am just speechless at the debris and monstrous effects of all this.
