Seemingly just overnight the leaves on my walnut trees started to turn yellow.
They are always the first of our many trees to turn. The ash tree out back
will be next.
I love the way the brightly colored leaves play off the deep greens and all
the white wicker around the cottage.
Everything suddenly becomes so warm and welcoming when you walk
through the front gate on a cool crisp fall day.
The leaves on the wet steps seem to say ~ follow the path and come inside
for a hot cup of tea. Bentley will be here to greet you. We so enjoy
your visits!

Everything looks fun and Fall festive Susan! Very pretty. How you are having a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteoops, that was supposed to be "Hope you are having a lovely day" LOL
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the colors change. I grew up with Walnut trees in the pacific west but don't remember them changing colors. We have an ash that is beautiful-but your colors are glorious.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

ReplyDeleteI too love the fall colors with the white wicker. The yellow mums are so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteThe crisp morning air does call for a cup of tea.
Wow, that yellow mum is gorgeous. Today is a very crisp, damp day so a bit of tea would hit the spot.
ReplyDeleteOh yes please to the tea! And is there cake? I love your pictures - very seasonal.
