I am so happy that my neighborhood allows fences.
Some do not.
Fences do more than keep pets and children contained.
They provide lovely backdrops for pretty flowers and plants and
makes one curious about what lies beyond it's gate.
Bentley and I are taking it easy this afternoon. It's just to hot
to do much but daydream.
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I agree. I can't wait to get out fences planted with some pretties. Yours looks great!
ReplyDeleteFences are such good backgrounds... and the flowers look lovely. It's hot here in Kansas, too...a good day to stay in!

ReplyDeleteI agree. I look for flowers peaking through fences when I am out walking Kane. They are a perfect photo subject. Love your photos.

As Robert Frost said "good fences make good neighbors" - love that quote!
ReplyDeleteYes love fences, especially pickets. We have colour bond between our neighbours which aren't that pretty, but we cover them up with plants as much as we can. Enjoy your lazy afternoon, sounds lovely xx
ReplyDeleteYour photos and fences are so lovely! I agree that they make perfect backdrops for flowers. Have a great week, Jean
ReplyDeleteI would hate not having fences for privacy and all the dogs that would be running amuck.
ReplyDeleteI love little picket fences and especially the flowers that grow in front of them. Picket fences make me smile ~ I am glad that we can have fences too~! Why chessie would chase squirrels into the next county ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour picket fences are so lovely. I have two different areas in my yard that have a picket fence and they do make a nice backdrop for flowers! Have a great weekend!
