I tweaked a shabby little birdcage to give two love birds
a special place to next for Valentine's Day.
Let's open the door and take a peek inside.
There they are ~ two little love birds on a perch.
So romantic, don't you think?
Perched over a dinner of Valentine hearts.
I suppose we should let them have their privacy ;-)

Bentley ~ want to help your momma finish painting the
library stack? No??? You would rather play outside.
Males never want to help with the painting in this house!
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I never met a man who liked to paint - at least not in my family!! So, it must be a "man"thing.
ReplyDeleteYour birdcage is so sweet and romantic.

ReplyDeleteSusan, that is so cute! I'm tucking this idea away to do on my daughter's little birdcage next year for Valentine's Day! Thank you for sharing and thank you for the visit and sweet comment at The Dedicated House on my little Goodwill Chest. It means the world! Would love it if you would share this at the Make it Pretty Monday party that is going on right now. http://thededicatedhouse.blogspot.com/2013/02/make-it-pretty-monday-week-36.html Hope to see you at the bash! Your bird cage is just adorable. Lovely tweeking ~ I absolutely adore this.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day ;-)
I love your little birdcage. I wish I could come up with ideas for using my large one that sits on a stand. It was a rusty mess when we bought it but turned out beautiful after sanding and painting. I envisioned all kinds of ways to use it but didn't realize that anything that goes in it has to go through the tiny door. Such a problem. And the cage itself is probably 3 ft. tall plus the stand it sits on. Small objects look lost in it.
ReplyDeleteYour little love birds are so sweet and I love the way you decorated their cage. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteAH so SWEET!! :)
