  2. CITY and HEART

    The calm city, with its wind vane on the crazy frozen rooftops of its houses;
    Resembles the frozen heart, but different, of the poet
    With strident struggle of reason.

    Oh the city, like my unreasonable heart
    Against my hand I have smelled war
    From the city and its impregnable heart.
    And a huge surprise to my heart's life.

    Not sure if that is what the poet was writing, but it's the best translation I could muster.
    Lovely pictures, Susan, one of the most beautiful teacups I have ever seen.

    1. I bought a bunch of miniature roses a few months back and one bud fell off and dried and I just loved the way it looked so I kept it.
