Or do you just need a little bit of medicine?
Our doctors are here to meet your needs!
Thank you to Certified Therapy Dogs
Molly
and
Toby
And thank you to the Boise Public Library for
the opportunity to be the hostess for this week's
Read to Me Program!
It's a wonderful program for young children to practice their
reading skills to therapy dogs. These sweet dogs never tire of hearing
the same story and welcome and encourage young readers.
Congratulations to Toby who turns 10 on Tuesday March 1.
He has provided many, many hours of comfort and compassion
and therapy. Happy Birthday Toby and may you enjoy
your retirement. Thank you sweet boy!
Bentley ~ what do you think? Would you like to train to
be a therapy dog??
Love,
Susan and Bentley

Aww. What a neat program. Wonder who enjoys it more, the kids or the 'dogtors?'
ReplyDeleteJust another reason why a dog is a man/woman's best friend. You can't compete with a dogs enthusiasm and zest for life. Great post.
ReplyDeleteI think Bentley wants to stay close to his Mommy! I hope they enjoy retirement!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great program. These doctors give the BEST therapy, unconditional love and acceptance. Beautiful post!~ Happy Sunday ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love that idea! And the doctors are cute to boot! Happy weekend!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteIn my heart I know there is no greater love than that given by a dog to any human that will take the time to receive the gift....Happy Birthday Toby and many more big guy!
ReplyDeleteI think Bentley would be a superstar therapy dog!

We've used therapy dogs in our school to help children read, it's a wonderful program!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest thing!!! Xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteMy 13 year old has read to our Westie since Kindergarten. She also studies with her! Dogs are going in to the elementary schools around here to encourage young struggling readers. Thanks so much for this sweet post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your story. Therapy dogs are wonderful...and so are their trainers. If you think that Bentley would enjoy himself, and every dog wants a job, our local SPCA has therapy dog classes. You might have something like that near you...
