He has an area that is a bit more masculine ...
The Bar.
Vintage crystal decanters, an antique silver tray, deep
Balmoral red from Ralph Lauren on the walls
above the wainscoting.
When it's time for the cocktail hour, he is ready to fill the
vintage ice bucket and ask you ...
What's your pleasure??
I am joining
Bentley ~ would you like your Daddy to put an ice cube in
your water dish?? What's that? You want a vintage
silver dog bowl now???
Love,
Susan and Bentley
xxoo
I love David's bar area! How 'bout you and me meet up at RL by the fireplace, for a cocktail and some girl talk. If they are full, we can head over to The Palmer House, for one of their great Cosmo's in the that beautiful lobby.
ReplyDeleteYes, Bentley, The Palmer House is "pet friendly."

We must give them their space.. LOl.. beautiful decanters and tray!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bar. Each detail is perfection, just as a table top bar should be.

Doesn't surprise me that Bentley wants a vintage silver water bowl! He's a pretty upscale dog!
ReplyDeleteAt least he has good taste in what he likes. When he drinks anything he does it in style.
ReplyDeleteSusan this is all so beautiful. The tray details are superb.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my visit to your lovely blog. I'll be back again soon. Bentley is precious and makes me smile wide.
Warmly, ~Melissa
Beautiful collection. Always love visiting your blog. Very inspiring. ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a drinker, but these kind of set ups always look so romantic and sophisticated to me. I love the idea of just pouring a drink on the rocks, but I don't think I'd ever be able to drink it. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice spot for your dear husband. Just gorgeous!
how very James Bond of him, Or maybe the old spencer tracy movies I just love it. I need some of those decanters.

That is so cute. My hubby has a bar in the Florida room and I have controlled myself and let him do "whatever" out there. He found a fridge, glasses etc and it's where we all go when anyone comes over. He did good just like your hubby.
ReplyDeleteAdds a bit of shine and sparkle! Beautiful! Mimi
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful vintage silver and crystal. Hubby has an awesome bar. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Ginger
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, love the tartan plate:)
ReplyDeleteVery cute post!
ReplyDeleteI guess we have to give our husbands at least a silver tray to call their own in our homes! lol My husband owns our garage and I am NOT allowed to decorate it! This was a fun post..thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings My friend,
your bar area is so pretty, looks like a scene from a 30-40's movie, ready for a drink!
ReplyDeleteI love silver and crystal and the red sounds fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBentley you definitely deserve a silver dish and perhaps a crystal dish as well for weekday use, hmmm?
Have a great day Susan and Bentley!

Oh, Susan what beautiful shots. I had to laugh, when you asked Bentley if he wanted an ice cube. One of my dachshunds, Bailey will fish them out of the water and wants to play hockey on the kitchen floor, it is too funny. I loved your post today!! Happy VTT!
ReplyDeleteI love red! Your DH (dear husband) sounds like mine. He lives in a cottage with three girls, four including the dog, LOL! The bar looks lovely (and masculine). Thanks for the great pictures!
ReplyDeleteVery well appointed bar!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trayscape...the decanters are lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou have quite the generous husband. Lovely crystal...beautiful vignette. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
