Prayers for Florida and Blog Tour Day 3

It's hard to be cheerful and upbeat when our neighbors to the east are
about to be slammed by Hurricane Michael.  The Gulf Coast of Texas
lies to the east of the Panhandle of Florida.  The waters of the Gulf
are so warm and provide just the perfect environment for a hurricane
to become deadly.  I do hope that most of the residents have
evacuated.  Having lived through two major hurricanes that
spawned on the Gulf Coast, I can tell you that sitting one out is a
very terrifying experience, and the aftermath is miserable too.

So I hope that you will understand that I just feel like praying
for the safety of so many in Michael's path.  I hope you will
join me.

Despite the upheaval in the east, we still have two remaining
days of the Fall in Love With Texas Blog Tour.  I hope y'all
will stop by these sites and enjoy all the Fall decorating

Fall In Love With Texas Tour Day 3

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  1. Your thoughts are heartfelt and so true. We were very prepared for hurricane Florence and then she turned and missed us. So many were in her path. So sad.

  2. Yes...such a serious situation. My hubby's sis and her hubby and his 90 plus year old mom evacuated yesterday morning. They live in San Destin. Prayers for all in his path! Thanks, Susan.

  3. Susan I too feel for the peeps in the path of that hurricane. Living in the north I cannot even imagine over 100 mile an hour winds. We had 50 mile an hour winds on a storm and the trees were breaking and causing all kinds of issue so I can only imagine what over 100 miles an hour will do. Prayers, prayers and more prayers.

  4. Michael is such a devastating hurricane. It came up through GA but we were lucky and only got some wind and rain. My prayers are with all who were hit with this terrible hurricane! Hugs!

Oliver and I LOVE and read every comment.
